-MiaMolvray would like to volunteer for the following: I'm a molecular/evolutionary biologist (used to teach college), sf author (short stories published in Analog), and Linux user (on the newbie side, but what the hell).  At MileHiCon and some others, I've been on panels or led discussions, and enjoyed that a lot.  If you could use me in that capacity, I'd be glad to do it.  Alien biologies, world-building, biotech are the sort of things I usually do at ordinary sf cons.  At PenguiCon, portrayal of hackers in sf might be a topic.  Or, on a more purely Linux note: trials and tribulations of Linux newbies in a Windoze world.  Another is the whole controversy about the OpenSource / CreativeCommons model for authorship versus the [DRM], pay-per-view model. +
