The ConChair is the leader of the convention committee, or ConCom. The responsibilities of ConChair include making a list of everything that needs to be done for PenguiCon, finding people willing to do them, and checking with them to make sure they are doing the things they said they would. Traditionally the ConChair has been deeply involved with the selection of GoHs, and with the hotel contract, but if he or she can delegate those or if they can be done a year ahead of time, so much the better. Usually the ConChair simply does whatever he or she cannot find someone else to do, or delegates them to an AssistantChair. The ConChair has final say on all decisions of the convention and answers only to the BoardOfDirectors.
