“I'm here to fix the projector.”
This position was originally created to help people (primarily staff and GoHs) with technical issues, such as computers not working. This quickly devolved into helping people hook computers up to projectors (including trying to scrounge the correct adapter). It then evolved into controlling audio at panels (such as Masquerade). It is thus less “tech troubleshooter”, and so I have started referring to myself as Chief Engineer.
