This is the nerve center of the logistics of the convention. While Operations is about the people and Programming is about the events, Facilities is about the “stuff”. Managing the hotel contracts, the movement of our equipment, and maintaining the infrastructure; it is a special kind of exciting.

This year, the facilities management is handled by Jer Lance.

• Logistics - Procurement, storage, and movement of the “stuff” on which the con runs.
• Hotel Liaison - Managing the contract and serving as a liaison between the convention and the hotel.
• Network Wrangler - Configuring and maintaining the network infrastructure for the event.

If you want to get involved, the first step is to let us know! Email Jer and let him know. We are currently looking for a truck driver and a person to manage to setups and teardowns. These positions might actually be the same position. If you would like to do one (or both) of them, let me know.
