If you are unfamiliar with a Consuite (or you are only familiar with the inferior versions put on by some other conventions), then you are in for a treat. Penguicon is reputed to have one of the best hospitality suites in convention-dom, but we aren't resting on our laurels; instead, we are planning on bringing you the best suite ever.
What can you expect? Food, drink, fun, and friends (not necessarily in that order). The consuite is a place to relax, take a load off, grab a complimentary (read: free as in beer) snack and beverage, participate in some great programming, and enjoy the company of 20 or 30 of your friends.
So, the usual typically includes your standards: chips, dips, vegetables, lunch meats, peanut butter and jelly, cheeses, cereals, milk, crackers, nuts, candies, donuts and danishes, cake, and various elements of food-like miscellany; all of which can be washed down with free soda (pop in the midwest), Open Soda, coffees that are less “gourmet” and more “extraordinarily caffeinated”, hot chocolate, teas, water, and even caffeinated water, for those so inclined. Additionally, we have a great selection of beers and hard cider on tap for the over-21 crowd looking to imbibe.
