The SMOF in SMOFing stands for Secret Masters Of Fandom. (Not to be confused with SMERF.) Generally, this refers to anyone who helps run the con. Some people truly enjoy discussing every aspect of convention running. These people dedicate a lot of time and energy to making sure things run as smoothly as possible. They work long hours, before, during and after the convention.
