Thus, creatures are the most important part of this game. You cannot do battle without them, and you cannot find gold without them. It is quite possible to be nice to the others while playing. PanTropia is a game of Terraforming and Pantropy, loosely modeled after [[http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/13|Settlers of Catan]], that is played on a Hoberman sphere. Players balance strategies of mega-engineering the planet to fit their colonists, or bio-engineering their colonists to fit the planet. Diverge into human subspecies until the globe is irreversibly habitable by the winning techno-ecology.
